Meet the 2026–2027 MBE PTA Board

LINDSAY CONROY | PRESIDENT
Lindsay is in her 10th year as an MBE parent and is mom to Claire, a 9th grader, Will, a 5th grader, and Henry, a 2nd grader. Over the years, she has loved being involved in classrooms, school events, and just about anything PTA! Lindsay is passionate about creating a welcoming school community where families feel connected and every student has opportunities to participate and make great memories.

SHAWNA COSCARELLI | VP MEMBERSHIP
Shawna is mom to Austin, a 5th grader, and Ella, a 3rd grader. She works as a preschool teacher assistant and brings that same patience, energy, and care to MBE. Shawna is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed and loves helping families feel connected to the Meadow Brook community.

LAURA SANDERS | VP COMMITTEES
Laura is mom to Mason, a 5th grader, and Aiden, a 3rd grader. She works as a psychologist at Oakland University and has been an active MBE volunteer for several years. Laura is thoughtful, dependable, and loves helping behind the scenes to keep things organized and our many PTA programs and committees running smoothly.

ANNIE HEGEDUS | VP COMMUNITY
Annie is mom to Peter, a 4th grader, and Eliza, a 1st grader. She works as an Advising Director at Oakland University and brings her passion for student success and belonging to MBE. Annie loves finding ways to bring families together and helping make sure everyone feels welcomed and included in our school community.

JESSICA STAFFNE | VP FUNDRAISING
Jessica is mom to Blake, a 4th grader, and Eliza, a 2nd grader. When she’s not helping at MBE, she works as an ophthalmic photographer. Jessica is reliable, always willing to jump in and help, and has volunteered with Fun Fair, Pizza Kits, Veterans Day, and more. She’s excited to bring that same energy to her new role as VP of Fundraising!

KRISTA KIRKPATRICK | SECRETARY
Krista is mom to Amelia, a 3rd grader, and Eliza, who is starting Kindergarten. She works as a Director at Oakland Family Services, where she uses data to help improve outcomes for children and families. With her background in counseling and passion for helping others, Krista brings a thoughtful perspective to the board and loves being part of building a strong MBE community.

TAMI TENNANT | TREASURER
Tami is in her 9th year at Meadow Brook and is mom to four — Hallie, an 8th grader, Ryan, a 6th grader, Tyler, a 3rd grader, and Kenzie, a Kindergartener. A dental hygienist by day, Tami also brings some serious math and accounting skills to the PTA! She keeps our finances organized and is always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed.
